Start Residential Service

To apply for new electric service, please follow the steps listed below. Service requests received after 3pm will be processed the next business day. We make every effort to accommodate same day requests, however; there are several factors that could delay this request. Please contact a Customer Service Representative at (423) 952-5000 for questions regarding the application process. 

Please note we are unable to process the following service requests: those dated more than 30 days from the date of application, service requests dated for weekend and holidays, and backdated service requests. 

  1. Please read the New Service Agreements
  2. Complete this form to request electric service to an existing meter.
  3. Upload an image of your valid driver's license or state issued ID. For renters: Please upload a Proof of Occupancy/Lease Agreement document. For property owners: Please upload Proof of Ownership Document(s). 
  4. Submit the form by signing electronically and selecting the "submit" button.
  5. Once you complete the form, a copy will be emailed to you for your records.
