Rolling roadblock slated for Tuesday afternoon on North Roan Street
JOHNSON CITY — BrightRidge contractors will be conducting a rolling roadblock impacting all lanes from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2023, in the vicinity of Hillside Road and Hemlock Lane on North Roan Street.
The work is part of a continual BrightRidge program to improve electric system reliability, with the rolling roadblock allowing new conductor wire to be safely pulled across the road from a nearby substation.
Motorists are asked to use the utmost caution when traveling in the work zone, planning to seek other routes when possible.
