Save on utility bills, breathe cleaner indoor air and be more comfortable in your home. Eligible customers receive an average of $10,000 in free home energy upgrades.

TVA Energyright® Partnership

BrightRidge has partnered with TVA EnergyRight® to bring the Home Uplift Program to our community. Through Home Uplift, income-qualified residents can receive valuable home energy upgrades that will improve their home’s energy efficiency and comfort and lower their utility bills – at no cost to them. Home Uplift is about creating change that will improve quality of life for families in our community who need it most. The Home Uplift Program is first-come, first-served and income restrictions do apply.

Apply for the Home Uplift Program

Home Uplift provides an average of $10,000 in free (yes, free) home energy upgrades to income-eligible customers. New or repaired HVAC units, attic and wall insulation, appliances, electric water heaters – these are just a few of the home energy upgrades the you may receive through Home Uplift.

How Does the Home Uplift Program Work?

Step 1: Apply

Call (888) 986-7262 for a Home Uplift application. Complete the application and send it to the address listed on the application.

Step 2:  Energy Audit

Once your application is processed, an energy advisor from the TVA EnergyRight® Program will call you to schedule an energy audit. That is how it is determined if your home qualifies for the program. Your home will be examined, looking at areas such as heating and cooling equipment, duct systems, insulation levels and lighting. If your home qualifies for upgrades, you will be contacted to discuss beginning work on your home.

Step 3:  Upgrades and Inspection

A contractor will be assigned to complete the work.  Once complete, an energy advisor from TVA EnergyRight® will inspect the work, ensure everything is done correctly, and answer any questions you might have about the upgrades.

Who is Eligible to Apply?

To be eligible to apply, your family must meet these requirements:

  • Be a BrightRidge customer
  • Own a single-family home
  • Meet income qualifications

What Home Upgrades are Included?

Your home upgrades could include:

  • Air sealing
  • Attic insulation
  • Repair or replace heat pump
  • Repair or replace air conditioner
  • Duct replacement/repair
  • Building envelope insulation
  • High-efficiency lighting
  • Appliances
  • Whole-house ventilation
  • Windows
