Bank Draft Agreement Terms
I, hereby, authorize BrightRidge to automatically debit my bank account for payment of my monthly energy bill. I agree each payment shall be the same as if it were an instrument personally signed by me. This authorization will remain in effect until revoked by me in writing. Once BrightRidge receives written notification, it shall have a reasonable time to effect all necessary requirements to terminate this agreement.
I understand BrightRidge will continue to bill me each month, and that there will be a minimum of 10 days after the billing date to notify BrightRidge of any error or dispute on the bill. I realize that if an adjustment is warranted for a current month’s bill, the adjustment may be applied after the debit has been drawn and a credit will appear on my next month’s energy bill. I understand BrightRidge may impose processing fees and bank charges for accounts found to contain insufficient funds. I realize this agreement is non-transferable and non-negotiable. I further understand that should I request a disconnect of electric service that my account will be drafted in full upon a disconnection of electric service and final billed.
Customers participating in the Budget Billing Program will be drafted the full amount due at the end of the budget year (June or July). If the account has a credit balance at budget year-end, the account will not be drafted.*If you currently have an outstanding balance (amount due), please pay the current amount due in order for the account to be automatically drafted the following month. Once you receive the bank draft notification on your bill, the amount due for that particular billing period will be drafted per the date at the bottom of the bill. The entire application process takes approximately four weeks for approval.

Electronic Signature Agreement
By selecting the "I Accept" button, you are signing this Agreement electronically. You agree your electronic signature is the legal equivalent of your manual/handwritten signature on this Agreement. By selecting "I Accept" using any device, means or action, you consent to the legally binding terms and conditions of this Agreement. You further agree that your signature on this document (hereafter referred to as your "E-Signature") is as valid as if you signed the document in writing. You also agree that no certification authority or other third-party verification is necessary to validate your E-Signature and that the lack of such certification or third-party verification will not in any way affect the enforceability of your E-Signature or any resulting contract between you and BrightRidge. You also represent that you are authorized to enter into this Agreement for all persons who own or are authorized to access any of your accounts and that such persons will be bound by the terms of this Agreement. You further agree that each use of your E-Signature in obtaining an account with BrightRidge constitutes your agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions of BrightRidge’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy as they exist on the date of your E-Signature.
