BrightRidge to remove obsolete structures at Midway, Phipps substations

CIUDAD DE JOHNSON — Neighbors of BrightRidge’s Midway substation, in Jonesborough, and the Phipps substation, on Bailey Bridge Road, may notice demolition work near those facilities as obsolete structures are removed.

Currently, the structures have been determined to have no useful life remaining. To prevent these buildings from becoming a potential hazard, these structures will be demolished with the demolition debris removed from the site.

Demolition work will begin Wednesday morning and continue until completion as weather permits. BrightRidge does not have any work scheduled beyond demolition.

Neighbors should be aware of the activity and watch out for construction traffic. Work will be conducted during regular business hours.
