Mystic River Bridge, 3:40 Opening
The bascule bridge over the Mystic River in Mystic CT. We were shopping for birthdays and the holidays when I realized the bridge was about to open and I shot this series of photos. Mystic is a small village in Southeastern Connecticut, with a history steeped in the old traditions of the Seafaring ways. A wide variety of interesting and unique historic resources awaits the savvy traveler. Mystic is home to the Mystic Seaport Museum and the Mystic Maritime Gallery where I have shown my paintings in the past.
