Early Morning at Kennedy Plaza
To ensure that Kennedy Plaza -- Providence's historic transportation center -- keeps up with the changing needs of visitors, commuters and pedestrians, RIPTA reconstructed the Plaza and created a new state-of-the-art Intermodal Transportation Center in 2002. Introducing a new level of comfort, safety and convenience for RIPTA customers, the Intermodal Transportation Center is accessible and pedestrian friendly.
